SafeCer Project is approching its ending (in March of 2015) and an interesting meeting was held the 23th, 24th and 25th of September. The meeting was host by Virtual Vehicle and AVL partners in Graz (Austria).
SafeCer (Safety Certification of Software-Intensive Systems with Reusable Components) is an international research collaboration targeting increased efficiency and reduced time-to-market by composable certification of safety-relevant embedded systems. The University of Mondragon, is participating in the project from the begining (2011).
During the meeting, technical discussions were carried out. And demostrations of the developed methods and tools applied to use cases were shown in all the domains involved in the Project: Railway, Avionics and Aerospace, Automotive and Construction Equipment and others and cross-domain (including Health-care). The planning of the last six months of the Project was also performed.
In the context of Safecer, Mondragon Unibertsitatea is working specially in railway and health domain as well as developing an educational use case.
The Project is supported by the ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking and National funding of the partners’ countries (Ministerio de industria, energía y turismo in the case of Mondragon Unibertsitatea).
