Mondragon Unibertsitatea in the ARTEMIS Spring Event 2013

The ARTEMIS Spring Event 2013 on 13 & 14 March was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. This was the fifth, annual ARTEMIS Spring Event organised by the ARTEMIS Industry Association and is a very efficient opportunity for industry, R&D and knowledge centres to shake hands. This year the ARTEMIS Spring Event was focused on the achievements of the ARTEMIS JTI until today – whilst keeping in mind that ‘ARTEMIS is more than just a funding programme’ and show casing the ARTEMIS Successes.

ARTEMIS has built a sustainable and solid community in Europe – in the field of innovation and embedded systems with about 200 members from SME’s, Universities, Research Organisations and Large Industries in just 6 years. And over 50 project consortia are established, ranging from 9 to 100 project partners. Besides this, ARTEMIS also has developed several Centres of Innovation Excellence (CoIE) and a label for Tool Platforms. All important elements for community building, which make ARTEMIS more than just a funding programme. The fifth, annual ARTEMIS Spring Event, a two-day international event, held a project exhibition that showcased the CoIE’s; EICOSE, ProcessIR.EU and ES4IB, the Tool Platform CESAR, the AIPP’s Crystal and Arrowhead and the ETP’s.

Mondragon Unibertsitatea takes part in two of these: Arrowhead and ES4IB. Here you can see our colleague Egoitz in front of the panel of the AIPP project Arrowhead.
